An Overview and My First Thing Scanned
January 24, 2008
Welcome to Things I’ve Scanned, a brand new weblog courtesy of Jon Furniss, etc., a company that will do something someday, but doesn’t exist yet.
In this blog I will post pictures of things I’ve scanned. Mostly it will be notes and doodles that I’ve written/drawn in class while not paying attention, but it can also be a variety of whatever other things I find to scan. The inspiration for this project is my almost brand new Epson RX595, it’s pretty awesome and my only complaint is that it shakes my entire desk when printing, but I’m alright with that. I plan to update at least every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, although there will surely be other times when I scan stuff and put them up. I am also going to work on putting up a Flickr account with all things I’ve scanned, and putting up old stuff that I have drawn/written for you to check out in your free time. But I’ll let you know what’s up when that happens. And without further ado, the first scannee. Well, one further ado, my handwriting is terrible… sorry!
Just a quick note, which I didn’t realize until after I had already scanned it: firstly, this is a true story, and secondly, it was supposed to say that she came and sat next to me in my first class, but I apparently forgot to write that. And that’s all for today, as soon as I have some more free time (possibly tomorrow, but Friday at the latest), I’ll get some more content up and running.
